During a recent interview, Seth Rollins gave his view on another Shield reunion, as well as an update on his former tag-team partner Dean Ambrose.
Former Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins, recently conducted an interview with App.com – promoting his appearance at iPlay America on July 7.
Rollins was the first to break up The Shield, however, illness to Roman Reigns was the second to break up the group. Rollins took the news in his stride, noting that things happen, and “there’s nothing you can really do about [it]”.
Rollins still thinks there’s time for another Shield reunion, but understands that anything can happen to stop storylines and plans progressing in WWE: “You know, we haven’t done it and thrown it away and wasted it. But yeah man, it’s just [that] stuff happens, you can’t predict those variables of people getting sick or injured.”
Dean Ambrose has been out of action since late last year with an arm injury and is expected to return soon. Rollins confirmed the expectation, adding that he’s “on the mend”, and that he is “on his way back”. The ‘Architect’ is hopeful that we will see him back on TV before the end of the year.
